The 2023 MARKOPEN drew its curtains on Sunday, wrapping up a tennis-filled weekend where players from all walks of life shared their love for the sport, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
The tournament, which was held at Nuns' Island Tennis Club, was once more a testament to the power of tennis to bring people together and create a sense of community and fun.
Congratulations to all players competing, and a huge thanks to Marco Daigle and Pierre Tessier, two members of Tennis Lambda, who organized a fantastic weekend, filled with laughter, fun, and great tennis.
All proceeds from this tournament will go to AGIR, an NGO supporting the LGBTQ2+ immigrant community in Montreal.
